Shakira in b-town! - Latest Hollywood and Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 30 -- For Shakira fans, this news promises to be exciting. Although the singer's date with Bollywood has been going awry for some time now, debutant actor-producer Sachin Joshi insists she might still be crooning for his film, Azaan, soon.

"But I think I should comment on it only when the deal comes through. Although other producers have also talked about roping in Shakira for their films, she has always been my first priority since the inception of Azaan. And I am very hopeful about roping her in. The deal should happen," says Joshi.

For the uninitiated, Azaan, a film that marks the debut of gutka baron Jagdish Joshi's son Sachin, also stars Playboy model Candice Boucher. Last year too, there were talks about Shakira singing a cabaret style song with Latin influences under composer duo Salim-Sulaiman's guidance. But the deal apparently fell through.

"We are constantly in touch with Shakira's team and are in the final stages of negotiations with her," says Sachin, who shares screen space with the South African model Candice in the espionage thriller. But Sachin rubbishes talks that Candice will be seen in a sultry avatar.

"Director Prashant (Chadha) felt that she fit the part. Candice doesn't have any acting experience but she's done a stupendous job. Just because she is a Playboy girl doesn't mean that we'd ask her to expose without any reason. She looks beautiful in the film," he says defensively.

Excited about his maiden outing as an actor, Sachin says, "It was an awesome experience to work with a foreign crew. After all, we shot the film in seven different countries." Will good friend Shah Rukh Khan pitch in with tips? Sachin smiles: "He has always been very supportive. I have kept him updated about my film and I hope he likes it in its final form."

Snooki: Detained by Italian Police - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

In news that would only be less shocking if she were wasted at the time, Snooki plowed into a police car in Italy today and was taken into custody.

Sources tell TMZ that alcohol actually did not play a role in the incident, as the Jersey Shore star simply crashed into the back of the patrol car, ending up with her vehicle stuck between the cop's ride and a highway protection wall.

JWoww was a passenger had to escape through the window. Snooki was taken to the local police station, but not formally arrested.

Dear Italy: We really are sorry.

'Shaitan' doesn't intend to have shock value: Gulshan Devaiya - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 30 -- Bejoy Nambiar's film "Shaitan", which is touted as showing the dark side of the life of Mumbai youngsters, doesn't intend to have shock value to grab attention, says actor Gulshan Devaiya.

"I don't think we have done anything, which would have a shock value. It was scripted and it was in a flow. If it turns out something is shocking, then its ok but its not done intentionally to shock people or to grab attention," Gulshan told IANS in an interview.

Produced by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, "Shaitan" traces the life of five youngsters from Mumbai's urban scape and how in covering up an accident, these intelligent, good looking and "uber-cool" youngsters had to dig out the flip side of their character that lurks within.

"I don't think it's intended to show Mumbai in a different perspective, but it wanted to show how young people who live a very fast paced life in the city. It's also shows how young people are adapting themselves with the new Mumbai," said Gulshan.

He was initially offered the role of the police officer played by actor Rajiv Khandelwal but he had failed to impress Nambiar in the audition, he revealed.

"I was first called for the role of Mathur the cop, played by Rajiv Khandelwal. He wanted to shoot a scene with me and see if I fit the role. I think Rajiv Khandelwal was busy and was unable to give him time. So he was considering me.

"I shot for whole one day. It was a very tiring shot. I had to spend the whole day with a big moustache. I don't think he was really happy with how the shot came out and said he will let me know," said Gulshan.

Actress Kalki Koechlin, who has also worked with him in theatres and later in Kashyap's "The Girl in Yellow Boots", then suggested his name to Nambiar for the role of KC.

"Kalki suggested my name for KC, because he hadn't finalised on the cast. So I took the scene, prepared for it and was auditioned. Again Bejoy Nambiar didn't call me. So I called because I was getting jittery. He confirmed me and that's how I got the role," said Gulshan, who has a long association with Kalki since his theatre days.

Gulshan himself was also more inclined towards the role he grabbed than that he was offered initially.

"Personally, I feel that Mathur's character is the best of the film but somehow I was instinctively drawn towards KC because I thought it would be a nice role, I would enjoy playing KC. So when I shot for Mathur I couldn't give my 100 percent. I was somehow fantasizing the role of KC," said Gulshan.

The actor was enticed to do play KC because it's a very edgy role but he personally doesn't identify with the character at all.

"I am not like KC at all. I don't like too many people around, going to nightclubs, all this loud music, I don't do drugs, I don't even smoke though I occasionally enjoy my drinks. I didn't find the role difficult I found it interesting. I wanted to do it," he said.

The theatre actor had also played a small role in Rohan Sippy's recent release "Dum Maro Dum" and is again to be seen as a undercover gangster in "The Girl in Yellow Boots".

Though he played grey characters in three consecutive films, Gulshan made a conscious effort to keep each of them radically discrete from each other.

"My character Ricky in 'Dum Maro Dum' is of a peddler and I played a gangster in 'The Girl in Yellow Boots' but I didn't draw any reference from any of my previous characters. I tried to keep KC as far away as possible in terms of look, speaking and walking style. I try to keep all the character as far away from me as possible. That's why I don't do TV commercials, because they want you as you are. It's very boring," said Gulshan.

Tony Romo and Candice Crawford: Married! - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

Tony Romo plays quarterback. But he made the catch of his life yesterday, marrying former Miss Missouri Candice Crawford in a ceremony in Dallas.

Of the nuptials, a source told People: "It was perfect! From the ceremony in beautiful white, to a vibrant after-party and great music selected by Tony himself."

Crawford is a local TV anchor and the sister of Gossip Girl star Chace. She got engaged to Romo in December, following the star's long, widely-publicized relationship with Jessica Simpson.

Over 600 guests attended the wedding, and the couple ought to have plenty of time to honeymoon: there's no end in sight to the NFL lockout.

John: Money matters! - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 30 -- Here come Safedi Lal, looking like a bright summer daisy, enthusing that he's got a tiddy-bitty on John Abraham. Claiming to have heard it from an assistant director types, my dhobi recalls the actor being a subject of ridicule by a filmmaker who recently approached him for a movie.

Wonder of wonders, the handsome hunk is believed to have quoted about R 5 crore as his remuneration. And the unimpressed director preferred to look for another actor instead. Not exactly amused, my washerman says he checked with his contacts in the other movies Johnny boy is acting in.

And wonder of wonders, he discovered that the dashing dude emphasises on keeping the production cost in control for higher recovery of investments and profits. And when John isn't gung ho about a script, he quotes high fees to put off unwanted projects. Hmmm, point noted.

Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight: It's Over! - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

It's all over for Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight. The scandal-filled couple announced over the weekend that their five-year marriage was coming to a legal end.

"After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated," manager Phil Viardo hilariously said.

Knight, forever known for his role as Peter Brady, met Curry years ago while they filmed The Surreal Life. Their engagement and first year of marriage was then captured on My Fair Brady.

But Curry recently admitted to Howard Stern that she was "unsatisfied" at home and turned to Twitter for attention. She also said she used Sybian machine to get herself off because her husband couldn't do it himself.

We're sorry. But she really did say that.

I'm not retiring, says Lata - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

New Delhi, May 29 -- A media report claiming that octogenerian Lata Mangeshkar is planning to retire has upset the singing legend who is surprised how a reputed newspaper could have published such an item.

"Today, I read a news in DNA newspaper that said that I am retiring. This is absolutely wrong. And I am surprised a reputated newspaper like DNA has published wrong and irresponsible information about me," Lata Sunday posted on her Twitter page.

The 81-year-old says that she has come into this world to sing and will keep singing till her last breath.

"If I want to retire, then I will make that decision myself, not others. DNA, or others who want to tell all this, do they really need to talk about my retirement? Be it any newspaper, they should talk to me directly; should not write an article on the basis of hearsay. Nobody has the right to insult me and my future work will be a reply to such rumours.

"What has also upset me is that wihout making any effort to find out the details about my health, they have written that I am suffering from back pain. This is also a lie," Lata asked.

A receipient of the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour, Lata, during her almost seven decade long career has sung for over 1,000 Bollywood films and in 36 regional languages.

Mumbai, May 30 -- Having just wrapped up the shoot of his father's production, Mausam, actor Shahid Kapoor is back on sets. Only this time, he is shooting for filmmaker Kunal Kohli's Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Hamara Tumhara with friend Priyanka Chopra.

Shahid spent a lazy Saturday chilling at home, listening to music as he chatted on Twitter. On Sunday, he was back on the set shooting his forthcoming film. "It's day one on Kunal's new film. I've only had three hours of sleep and I'm starting a new film after a year. Wish me luck!," he posted on the microblogging site.

Orlando Bloom Joins Cast of The Hobbit - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

Orlando Bloom is on his way back to Middle Earth.

Despite his character not having a role in the novel version of The Hobbit, director Peter Jackson confirms that Bloom will, indeed, portray Legolas in the wildly-anticipated film.

"Ten years ago, Orlando Bloom created an iconic character with his portrayal of Legolas," Jackson wrote on his Facebook page. "I'm excited to announce today that we'll be revisiting Middle Earth with him once more. I'm thrilled to be working with Orlando again. Funny thing is, I look older—and he doesn't! I guess that's why he makes such a wonderful elf."

The Hobbit will hit theaters in late 2012.

Deepika : Cheers with Cocktail! - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 31 -- My dhobi is not done yet. Now he wants me to hear about Deepika Padukone, who's away in London for the shoot of Homi Adajania's Cocktail with Saif Ali Khan. The two recently wrapped up Prakash Jha's Aarakshan and will also be seen together again in Abbas-Mustan's Race 2 next.

Mudde ki baat is that Deepika's juggling her dates all over again, as she has an extra free week per month till August. Safedi Lal explains that these are the dates she had committed for Rana with Rajnikanth. But after the actor took ill and was hospitalised, the production plan has been rescheduled.

Interestingly, beau Siddharth Mallya is planning to take time off to go to London and spend quality time with his Deepi darling. More so, since he's mourning the loss of his Royal Challengers Bangalore to Chennai Super Kings in the recently concluded IPL tournament.

Wonder if Kareena Kapoor too will fly there to check up on her Chhota Nawab, as she had done when he was shooting with his Padukone pal in Bhopal. Or shouldn't I ask?

'Bollywood dance is very difficult' - LAtest Bollywood and Hollywood News Gossips - Interviews Videos

Song and dance may be a staple in Hindi cinema, but in the West, even the most talented dancers are breaking bones to match their moves to Bollywood tunes. "It's very difficult," affirms Cat Deeley, host of popular dance reality show, So You Think You Can Dance.

"Bollywood dance is very energetic, technically difficult and asks so much of the dancer. In fact, one of our contestants ruptured his Achilles' tendon while practicing on 'Maurya re...' from Don (2006)," she adds. Returning as host for the sixth consecutive season, Cat is all praise for Bollywood dance, which the show holds in high regard for its choreography. "The dancers know it'll be taxing, but that they'll really enjoy it. The music is great, costumes are amazing and it's always fabulously done because it's energetic and joyful," she enthuses.

Ask her if she's aware of the show's desi spin-offs, and it's upcoming Indian version, Just Dance, with Hrithik Roshan, and she says, "Yes, I think it would be fantastic. The show has travelled to so many countries, and it's a great thing because dance is universal- irrespective of race, religion and creed. It should be celebrated all around the world."

When it comes to her own dancing skills, Cat calls herself "terrible."She says, "I enjoy it only after a couple of cocktails. I'd never be able to do it professionally, but I'll give Bollywood dance a go at least once." Cat is also quite excited about the new season of her show, which goes on air this Monday.

"Some of the best dancers from the previous season are returning and celebrity choreographer Mia Michaels will be a judge," she adds.

Katrina's ga ga over Hrithik - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 28 -- Talking of Katrina Kaif, my dhobi, Safedi Lal claims to have some more gup on her. And if his claims are anything to go by, Salman Khan wouldn't be even remotely pleased to read this.

Point is that the lissome lass is maha impressed with Hrithik Roshan, her co-actor in the forthcoming Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. So much so, that when she saw the rushes of their scenes together, she went on ooooh-ing and aaah-ing over his Greek God looks, reveals my washerman.

Aur pata hai kya? I'm told that Kat waxed eloquently on how he styled his sun-kissed hair, how coolly he carried off linen cotton shirts and all that blah blah blah. Wonder what Sussanne Roshan has to say about Kat going ga ga over her Duggu dude. Or shouldn't I ask?

Jacky's lost slippers saga! - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 28 -- Ek minute while I check this sandesha on my kaaliberry. It's my birdy from Bandra, telling me that Jacqueline Fernandez lost her pair of chappals while shooting a campaign for Panasonic Lumix cameras, which she's signed up to endorse recently.

Obviously, she wouldn't have bothered if they were some chaalu brand. My tweety says that Jacky was all the more worried because they were an international designer brand and she couldn't bear the thought of losing them.

So wonder of wonders, she got the entire unit to look for her prized slippers. Unfortunately for her, they couldn't be found. So after a few hours lost, the former Ms Sri Lanka decided to forget about them and resume her photo-session. Thank God for small mercies, she didn't let the loss show on her face during the shoot. And instead, was sporty enough to join the crew in laughter over her lost slippers.

Leopard alert at Hema Malini's bungalow! - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 28 -- Hema Malini had a strange fan early Friday when a leopard strayed into her bungalow in Dindoshi area of Mumbai, causing panic among the local residents, an official said.

The leopard, believed to have come from the adjoining Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) area, was spotted by a security guard in the premises early Friday. The Bollywood actor was not at home at the time of the incident.

The locals immediately alerted the SGNP authorities who sent a team equipped with tranquilisers and a cage to trap the large wild cat. "We dispatched a team of forest officials to the site and they are making arrangements to catch the leopard," said SA Thorat, SGNP Chief Conservator of Forests.

The SGNP, spread over around 100 square kms in northwest Mumbai, has over five dozen leopards and many other wild animals living in its thick forests.

Did Lee DeWyze Snub Scotty McCreery, American Idol? - Latest hollywood News Gossips

In the wake of Scotty McCreery's American Idol triumph, the country is asking multiple questions today?
  • Did he deserve to win? It's debatable.
  • Are Lauren and Scotty dating? No.
  • Did Lee DeWyze snub the show last night? Sort of.
Typically, the previous winner ends up on the stage to congratulate the new champ and hand him/her a trophy. But DeWyze was seated in the fifth row at the finale, and Ryan Seacrest never even mentioned his name.

What happened?

According to producer Nigel Lythgoe, DeWyze refused to be a good sport. The producer Tweeted today: "I was so upset Lee DeWyze wouldn't present the winners trophy to Scotty. Especially as he's been on the show this Season. I guess he was shy."

But the season nine title holder says it's the opposite: he was never asked to participate!

"I was not asked to be involved in the Finale," Lee wrote in response. "It wasn't until about 2 minutes before they announced that Nigel had approached me and asked if he could "borrow" me for a second. I didnt feel a last second jump on stage was appropriate. It was Scotty's moment."

True. But it's Lythgoe's show.

What do you think, readers? Is there a real beef here? Or was it simply a case of misunderstanding?

The Kim Kardashian/Kris Humphries Wedding: How Huge Will It Be? - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

Is it possible the April 29 wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William was merely a warm-up act? Might the world need to brace itself for nuptials that receive even more attention?

Pretty much, Khloe Kardashian says.

"It's going to be royal wedding number two," she told E! News soon after the announcement was made that her sister had agreed to wed NBA forward Kris Humphries. "I could only imagine Kim having the hugest wedding."

The proposal itself was captured on camera and, naturally the ceremony will air on E!; Kourtney admitted this week that her family does "sell our souls" to the network.

How much money will Kim make off it? Marco Gonzalez, a senior reporter for photo site X17 Online, sees almost no limit, comparing it with the Royal Wedding.

"Kim's wedding photos will be more valuable than pictures of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding simply because hundreds of photographers had almost the same photos of the royal couple and, of course, there were official photos released by the palace. Kim will likely do a deal with a major magazine for the exclusive coverage of her big day, but candid shots of her could launch a huge bidding war between the other magazines that aren't getting the 'official' shots."

We're getting sick just thinking about it.

Will you watch Kris and Kim's wedding on TV?

American Idol Crowns Season 10 Champion - Latest Hollywood Music News Gossips

A record 122 million votes were cast this week on American Idol. And, after all were tallied, who did viewers crown the champion?

Scotty McCreery!

Following an evening that included special performances by Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Bono, The Edge, Gladys Knight, Tony Bennett, Steven Tyler and more, Ryan Seacrest made the announcement that led to screams and cheers from the crowd.

"Never in my wildest dreams," Scotty said upon being crowned victor. "I gotta thank the Lord. He got me here."

So readers, you tell us: Did America get it right?

Daughter of Mildred "Patty" Baena: Haters are RACIST! - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

Jackie Rozo, the 27-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzengger's secret baby mama Mildred "Patty" Baena, is breaking her silence about the love child scandal.

Rozo's reason for speaking out? To decry how RACIST everyone is!

The ONLY reason people care about Patty Baena, she claims, is because Arnold was in an interracial affair. We can think of a handful of other reasons ...

"It's just a big thing because she's Hispanic, and he's a celebrity," Rozo says.
And because he's been married to Maria Shriver for the past 25 years. And employed Baena for the past 20 years. And kept this secret the past 14 years. And has four legitimate kids. And was the GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA.

Either way, it's still all news to her.

Like the guy who thought he was the dad, Jackie claims she had "no idea" that her half-brother was fathered by Arnold until the news broke last week.

But now, Jackie's coming to her mom's defense - adding, "She's like a superwoman pretty much" ... "My mother does not need to justify herself."

Perhaps ... but neither do people for being flat-out amazed by it. Nor does it make one racist to expect better from an elected official. Just saying.

Rani demands explanation from Bhansali - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 27 -- Rani Mukerji isn't too pleased with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A few days ago, the filmmaker stated in an interview that Rani wanted the title Hadippa from him, but since he had kept it for sister Bela Segal's movie, he could not comply. Following which, he had said, "They then added two words, 'Dil Bole' with Hadippa and used it as Dil Bole Hadippa (2009). I was upset about it. I thought that wasn't done."

Just the fact that Bhansali has dragged her into this rather old issue has shocked Rani, who delivered an award-winning performance under the director's guidance in Black in 2005. "Sanjay needs to tell me why he has involved my name," she retorts, adding, "Probably because I mediated between Adi (producer Aditya Chopra) and him. I wanted things to happen in an amicable manner, but since they didn't, Yashraj (producers of Dil Bole Hadippa) did what they had to do."

Being an actor, Rani accepts she can't possibly take a title away from anyone. "This is not my department. An actor only acts. Sanjay is also aware of the fact that it's never an actor's prerogative. Yes, as a friend, I tried to mediate, but the final decision was taken by the producers," says Rani, who doesn't feel what Yashraj Films did was wrong in this case.

"If Dil Bole Hadippa released, Yashraj must have got permission from the concerned authorities to go ahead with it. There are a lot of technicalities involved. You can't simply take a title," she says.

Ask Rani why her good friend Sanjay brought up her name and she shoots back, "You need to ask Sanjay why he did so. I don't know how I came into the picture." However, the actor continues to insist that she and Sanjay are "friends for life. That equation will never change. We're constantly in touch over the phone, since we don't get to meet each other due to our work schedules." Bhansali remained unavailable for comment despite repeated attempts to reach him for this story.

Calling Black and Sanjay "special" in her life, she adds, "That film took me to a level that would have otherwise taken me years to reach." Whatever the title, Dil Bole Hadippa, her Yashraj film with Shahid Kapoor evidently didn't do much for her career.

Lindsay Lohan: Placed Under House Arrest! - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

Lindsay Lohan began serving her jail sentence this morning - at her Venice, Calif., townhouse - after turning herself in to the Lynwood Jail hours earlier.

"She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times," L.A. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said after her 5:02 a.m surrender.

She showed up to begin her 120-day sentence, but it was determined that, as a non-violent offender, the actress was eligible for home confinement.

One day, LiLo may appear somewhere other than court or jail. But not today.

She was fitted with an electronic ankle monitor and released. No new celebrity mug shots today or Lindsay Lohan photos for the forseeable future!

Despite being handed four months in jail after she pleaded no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace, jail overcrowding, good behavior and budgetary constraints all potentially could lessen that sentence to a matter of just a few weeks.

Whitmore declined to say whether any exceptions would allow Lohan to leave her home, but the ankle monitor will not test for blood or alcohol this time.

Given Lohan's track record, that's a relief.

Lohan also serving 480 hours of community service – mostly at a downtown women's shelter but also on janitorial duty at the L.A. County morgue.

A judge forbade the actress to attend community service while under house arrest, so it looks like she's home until the law says she can leave.

No rush, law.

Situational songs dominate 'Bheja Fry 2' album (Music Review) - Latets Bollywood News Gossips

Film: "Bheja Fry 2"; Music Directors: Ishq Bector, Sneha Khanwalkar and Sagar Desai; Singers: Shree D, Ishq Bector, Apeksha Dandekar, Vinay Pathak, Rekha Rao and Dolly Peters; Rating: **

The soundtrack of "Bheja Fry 2", the sequel to 2007's hit comedy "Bheja Fry", is all about situational song. And three composers teamed up to churn out five originals and one remix.

The album starts with the fun song "Ishq da keeda", crooned by Shree D and Ishq Bector. It has full-fledged fast western beats with touches of classical music. It is pacy and foot-tapping and talks about the situation when someone falls in love. In short, entertaining and worth a hear.

Next is another fast-paced number called "We go crazy", which has Punjabi beats. The title song of the album is sung by Shree D and Apeksha Dandekar. This one too has a fun element. It also has a remixed version.

It is followed by a song sung by actor Vinay Pathak,"O rahi". A moderately paced number, it talks about life and is quite hummable.

Up next is "Banjaare", sung by Rekha Rao. The mood of the song and the way it has been sung is quite gypsy in nature, but it has nothing new or extraordinary to talk about.

"Burra na mano ji" winds up the soundtrack. It is basically about the protagonist of the film and has been sung by Shree D and Dolly Peters. Moderately-paced, humorous, but very situational number. Not a track that would make one hum or dance.

On the whole quite an average album and the songs are more thematic than being individual entertainers.

I paid Rs.12,000 for excess baggage: Bipasha - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 26 -- Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu was Thursday checked at the Mumbai international airport for "excess baggage" following which she paid the required tax and was immediately cleared.

Confirming the development, Bipasha, who was returning from London, said that she had gone overboard with her shopping and hence had to pay tax on the excess items she was carrying.

"It was just a routine check at the airport and many others were being checked as well. I paid Rs.12,000 as tax against some personal goods. I think the customs team is doing an excellent job," said Bipasha in an official statement.

She, however, refused to reveal the items for which she had to pay tax, saying they were for her personal use.

On May 18 another Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba was detained at the Mumbai international airport for 16 hours by the customs department for carrying undeclared jewellery worth nearly Rs.50 lakh.

Lamba was intercepted by the customs officials while she was crossing the green channel at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here. She was reportedly returning after marking her presence at the Cannes International Films Festival.

Daler Mehndi sings an item number - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 27 -- Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi makes his item song debut with Hriday Shetty's forthcoming film, Chaalis Chauraasi. Lalit Pandit has composed the duet sung between Mehndi and Mamta Sharma, who also sang 'Munni badnaam hui...' in Dabangg (2010). Called 'Badmast ho gaya...' the song will be picturised on actor Naseeruddin Shah.

Shetty is still scouting for the perfect item girl for the song. Mehndi flew in to Mumbai from New Delhi to record the song on Wednesday.

The movie also features KK Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Ravi Kishan and is slated to release by the end of the year.

The 27-year-old Social Network star has broken up with the Raising Hope actress, his girlfriend since 2008, Us Weekly sadly confirms this afternoon.

A source says that the British actor and Woodward grew apart as he "got deeper into filming The Amazing Spider-Man; he literally never saw her."

The insider adds that Woodward is "telling people they're on a break... [but] they haven't spoken to each other in weeks." Sounds like it's over.

Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey Reportedly Dating; Sarah Palin "Furious" Over Relationship - Latest Hollywood News Gossips

Sarah Palin may have be relocating to Arizona to set up a hub from which to run for president next year ... and/or to keep tabs on her daughter.

The politician is reportedly furious at the fact that Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey, who met on Dancing with the Stars last year, are in a relationship.

Bristol and Kyle are set to appear in a reality show on the BIO Channel, chronicling their efforts to set up a charity alongside Kyle's brother, Chris.

Reports say the couple's growing relationship sparked the idea for the show - and to say Sarah Palin isn't pleased would be an understatement.

She is convinced it will affect her family's reputation, as Bristol is on the rebound from her ex-boyfriend, Alaskan pipeline worker Gino Paoletti.

Before that, she had volatile relationship (and baby) with Levi Johnston.

A source said: "Sarah is furious at Bristol for going so quickly from man to man" and is doing her best to put the kibosh on the relationship.

That meddling has put a frown on Bristol Palin's new face.

An insider said: "Bristol told Sarah: 'Back off and let me lead my own life!' She doesn't agree with her mom's politics or her controlling ways."

This feud has apparently been escalating for awhile. Bristol reportedly banned her mother from her new home in Arizona after a huge fight.

The topic? Gay marriage. Bristol has become increasingly liberal since she moved to Los Angeles to appear on Dancing with the Stars last year.

"Bristol is completely rebelling against her mother," a source said. "She's experiencing life outside of Alaska and away from Sarah at last."

"She has realized how sheltered and programmed she was."

As for the seriousness of Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey's relationship, it's somewhat unclear, as they've been quite guarded about it publicly.

Kyle told a reporter he only keeps in touch with Bristol "every now and then" as the couple are trying to keep their burgeoning romance secret.

But now, he can't fly them to Diu in Gujarat, where he's shooting with Hrithik Roshan for the Agneepath remake. Sher Lock Holmes explains that it's too hot in the coastal Union Territory and Sanju baba doesn't want his kids to bear the brunt of the bereham mausam.

Arshad Warsi finds sequels risky, but excited about 'Ishqiya 2' - Latets Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 26 -- Arshad Warsi has worked in a couple of movie sequels and finds them risky, but at the same time he is very excited about the second instalment of "Ishqiya" because he finds the role of a rustic guy challenging.

"Finally, it is decided that the sequel of 'Ishqiya' is being made. I'm quite happy about that. 'Ishqiya' is way tougher than 'Dhamaal' or 'Golmaal' because that's a character that speaks in a different dialect," Arshad told Media.

"It's completely somebody else. I've not played such a character before. So speaking in that language, behaving that way, body language, colour and attitude - everything is very different. So, it's exciting and a lot of fun," he said.

The film will go on floors end of this year.

"I haven't heard the script yet. I've been told that it's really good and I have full faith in Vishal (Bhardwaj) and Abhishek (Chaubey), so the script will definitely be nice," said the 43-year-old.

"Ishqiya", which has bagged four National Awards, was released in January 2010 and it also starred Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Abhishek Chaubey and was produced by Vishal Bhardwaj.

In "Isqiya", Arshad essayed Babban, who is hot-blooded, lustful and scoffs at the idea of true romantic love.

Earlier, Arshad worked in the "Golmaal" franchise, now he will be seen in "Dhamaal" sequel set to release in June and then part three of "Lage Raho Munnabhai" releasing later this year.

Although Arshad is being a part of so many sequels, the actor, who started his Bollywood career in 1996 with the film "Tere Mere Sapne", doesn't enjoy being a part of them.

"I feel I'm stuck with the sequels. New things are better. Sequels are big risks. The expectations are way high because you have already put a benchmark for yourself, now you are competing with yourself and at the same time, you can't overdo. You have to still be in the same zone and still make people like it," said Arshad.

"For me, I don't like doing sequels, I like doing different things. It's like eating the same food everyday. It's monotonous for me," he added.

So will he continue doing sequels?

"I'll continue doing them. For me, there is an easy demarcation. There is one kind of work, that people like to see me in and then there is work that I want to do. So I satisfy myself as well as the people. 'Dhamaal', 'Golmaal', 'Munna Bhai…', all these I know people like to see me in, so I'll keep doing these, as long as they make it," he said.

"Films like 'Saher' and 'Ishqiya', I'll keep doing those because I like them," he added.

Salman, Yusuf: Daant mein dard? - Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 27 -- Guess who was required to visit a doctor in the neighbourhood recently, wonders my dhobi as he strolls in. I fire him that I've neither the time nor the inclination for guessing games and Safedi Lal tells me it was Salman Khan.

Seems the hunky actor, who's currently shooting for Bodyguard, had some tooth trouble the other day... and to resolve it, rushed to his friendly dentist's clinic at Bandstand.

Interestingly, Yusuf Pathan, who plays for Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders, too went in to seek help for his dental woe. Not surprisingly, the two exchanged pleasantries, before Sallu left for his home. As for Yusuf, he went to party at SRK's Mannat. Fences mended? We hope so. Hmmm.

Salman is on the team! - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, May 27 -- Bollywood cricket Franchise, Mumbai Heroes, owned by Sohail Khan, announced their final line-up of actor-cricketers who will play for the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). The tournament will be held from June 4 to 12 in Bangaluru, Chennai, Vizag and Hyderabad from June 4 to 12. Salman Khan will play as opening batsman, with Suniel Shetty donning the hat of the skipper.

Mumbai Heroes also includes actors Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Sonu Sood, Varun Badola, Angad Bedi, Ashish Chaudhary, Vatsal Seth and Kabir Sadanand. Sohail will also be a part of the team. Barring Salman, the team does not boast of big stars. The team will go up against Kannada, Tamil and Telugu teams led by actors Sudeep, Surya and Victory Venkatesh respectively.

"The idea was to combine the two popular Indian religions, Bollywood and cricket, to produce great entertainment for the audience. The film fraternities from south India will battle Bollywood, for the cricket cup," says Sohail.

Undeterred by IPL's failure to make profits this year, Sohail insists that the Celebrity Cricket League already has sponsors in place. He informs, "After having paid the players their rack rates and travel expenses for the practice matches, we will distribute the profits equally among the players."

Sohail was the initial choice to be captain but turned down the request, saying that Suniel is more suited for that role. "He (Suniel) has more respect, command, experience and better knowledge of the game," Sohail says. The actor-filmmaker had earlier led a friendly celebrity cricket team in Visakhapatnam.

Mumbai Heroes has been practicing for three months and has a strong bowling lineup with Sonu, Ritesh and Kabir. "People should feel we played a good game," says Sohail.
